Jennifer was awarded a first class BA Hons degree in Acting from the renowned Rose Bruford Academy of Speech and Drama in London. Whilst doing her degree, Jennifer was a finalist in the prestigious Carlton Hobbs Radio Awards.
She has been a professional actress for more than 20 years, working predominantly in TV. She most recently starred as the murderous Rose Bradley in Channel 5’s THE MADAME BLANC MYSTERIES.
Jennifer also starred in BAFTA winning Craig Cash’s BBC1 show BROKEN BISCUITS.
Jennifer found fame very quickly after leaving drama school and soon found herself starring in ITV1’s CORONATION STREET for three and a half years as Rovers barmaid Geena, she played PC Kim Spicer in BBC TV’s DALZIEL AND PASCOE for 2 years and she starred in David Jason’s hit ITV1 drama THE QUEST II. She’s also appeared in Channel 4’s hit show SHAMELESS, Kay Mellor’s BBC1 series THE SYNDICATE, the BBC1 series SECRETS AND WORDS and the BBC film, BIG WHEEL. She is also starring in the BBC series CREEPED OUT.
In theatre, Jennifer starred in The BEASTLY CHRONICLES OF SAKI in London’s West End, and in the hit show PRIZE NIGHT with Jim Cartwright at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
Jennifer has been married to Lee for twenty years and has been busy raising their two children for the last few years but, when time allows, ventures back into the TV industry.
Jennifer is a karate black belt, was a North West Kickboxing Champion and has attained a high standard of stage combat qualifications.
